Organization Overview:
The Brown Bag Joy Project is a non -profit organization. The main function of this organization is to provide service for urban youth, the homeless population, and to low income families.

Families in Need
The BBJ Project plans to support families in need by providing educational and financial literacy workshops. In addition, the organization would like to hold community events and giveaways throughout various parts of the year. We aim to offer families resources to lessen possible financial burdens that can arise from living in underrepresented communities. Through various educational workshops, giveaways and events, we promote self development and community.

Homeless
The BBJ Project plans to support the homeless population by providing pre-packaged meals, seasonal accessories, and hygienic products throughout the year. We prepare and serve meals to the homeless in brown paper bags. In addition, we provide seasonal accessories such as hats, gloves, scarves, socks, etc during the winter.
Youth
The BBJ Project plans to support the urban youth by providing educational resources and mentorship. The organization would like to promote college awareness, civic engagement, and a plethora of youth devoted events. We empower youth in under served communities by providing resources to assist with academic achievement, self care, and financial literacy.
